About once a month I go out to Publix to do shopping for specials. Across the road is Odell Williamson Airport, a non-towered General Aviation Airport that I first created for FSX back in 2022 and updated in 2023 with knowledge I was acquiring in scenery creation. I have updated the Photoreal background with SBX thankfully still working in my Windows 10. Another reason I have not updated to Windows 11. I finally took my ol trusty digital Nikon this past week and shot all the texture photos I needed to add the strip of stores onto Publix and create the new Mavis Tire and McDonalds with the architectural renderings found online. Here are the first two updates. It's not MSFS 2020 but neither do I have to use Blender and its SDK to do what I want to do. It has it appeal but...

These were both screenshots using ORBX BOB which I really like when I am creating scenery for Prepar3D V4.5 I will be continuing to do a little more updating with the Lowes, Domino's and Dollar Tree at the approach to Runway 6 across Ocean Isle Airport Road. I am adding those because anytime you fly into Runway 6 you will be flying over them. I sometimes can sit in Lowes parking lot and watch aircraft take off and land on a nice day.

Worked all day on the Lowes Shopping Center and got the basic shape of the store and all the jpg's for the textures. I am looking forward to finishing it, creating an update for the resources here and then getting some time in the air again at 60J, it's been way too long. Have a great weekend.Lowes Shopping Center Groundwork.png

I will test it since I keep FSX for exactly that reason. It was ORIGINALLY designed in 2022 to be used in FSX. When I got P3D V4.5, I ported it over. It is being updated for P3D but when I finish it because all of the bgl's can be used in either sim I will be sure to create both versions. I know this is a long answer to a short question but I wanted to be clear, The short answer is YES if I make it so. I hope that you will enjoy it when it's done. It is a really sweet, small GA airport. When I finished Jim Savage's Spartan Executive the first time, he and I were in almost daily communications. He said that the Spartan could easily takeoff and land at 60J. I was really hoping he would visit but to my knowledge he never did. I left Chicago behind 15 years ago or I could have seen him up at Oshkosh.
