Being a "vet" of the airline industry, many, many airlines had monikers that were quite amusing. My favourite was via a Swissair Rep: SWISSAIR = Sexy Women In Swissair Service Are Indeed Rare. I can't verify the truth, as my experience was quite the opposite.
