Hat off to Captain Sim for this bird! Update 1.3 released for 767-300. Downloaded it and purchased newly released 767-200. Now I'm 767 addict :)

and too heavy on my frame rates - stutters on mine - yet the Herc gets beyond 30fps

I've only had the review copy for about an hour, but yes, it is a lot more heavy on frame rates than the Hercules, simply because it has about 30 times more systems than the Hercules! ;)

Although the Herc is very nice and a good representation of the aircraft, a 1960s "steam driven" turboprop panel isn't quite in the same league as a 1980s semi-glass jet airliner panel. The latter has a lot more to do and a lot more to calculate than the former.

I haven't tested the 76 against any other packages in an identical scenario yet, so can't say whether it is better or worse than anything else for frame rate hit, but at the moment, it looks about the same as the B757 - which considering it's doing more (weather radar) isn't too bad.

Well that still does not help my slide show - what ever the reason!!

But if you use an unfair comparison, then you'll get unequal results. That's all I'm saying.

I'm currently getting 9FPS because my settings are vastly too high for flying a complex airliner over a built-up area. I'll turn some down to far more appropriate settings shortly and the frame rate will be back up above 30, exactly as happens with every other complex airliner I have. Which is why I keep saved settings for "maxed out" (which is currently loaded because I was playing with scenery design), "complex GA" and "complex airliner".

well next week i will be on a real one
maybe ill have to get a sim version
just for memory sake
not my kind of plane though
