This is a repaint for the B24 Guy's excellent unmirrored CFS2 TBF Avenger.
This aircraft is from 854 squadron F.A.A. based on H.M.S. Illustrious, Sumatra raids DEC 44/JAN 45.
This particular aircraft was flown by Sub Lt R.S. Armstrong, with Sub LT P.W.P. Houldin (observer) & Airman A. Barber (gunner). The aircraft & crew were lost over Soengi Gerong refinery on 29 JAN 1945 after the aircraft hit a balloon cable & crashed.
