SOH-CM-2023
An organ donation from the 9-year-old Tucson shooting victim has saved the life of a child in Boston, according to media reports.
Christina Taylor Green was one of six people killed in the shooting rampage that targeted U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords outside a Safeway store outside of Tucson.

As many of you here know, my wife had a liver transplant last January 18th. This story has put a small ray of goodness into a situation that was so sensless and tragic. Kudos to the parents for offering their daughters organs so that others could live.

A very decent thing to do,fellas please, please don't say anything stupid in response to what led to this selfless act by these brave and thoughtful parents.Lets just remember this little girl and the final gift she gave.:engel016:

Not much to say except RIP Christina :engel016: and God bless the parents for their generosity to somebody in need despite the tragedy they've experienced.

...and that, my friends, is why I'm an organ donor.

Even though I might not have achieved a thing when I kick the bucket, they can still use me to fix someone else....and that is something.

I too am an organ donor...

...although there likely won't be a whole lot of mileage left on this ancient bag of parts, perhaps something will still be useful!
