Anyone interested in assisting the data collection effort on this one?

This project is on my list for mid-Winter months.

Right now, the primary needs are modeling references.

1) High resolution 3-views
2) Dimensional and Performance Specs
3) Pilot's Handbook

I know there are DVD's available but will acquire them later.

I will see what I can find to contribute. I am planning on visiting the Pima Museum in a month or two, when temperatures are in the 2 digit range again.
I was just at the NMUAF as you know and I have a picture or two of the 20G there, but I doubt they will be much help for your project.

Milton, you are truly spoiling us! The Havoc has been on my wish-list for a long time. I still fly the old ALPHA one sometimes, but a new one would be sweet.

Sorry that all I can contribute at this point is enthusiasm and encouragment.

Thought this was interesting.... those are 'tracks' on the main gear struts, to the best of my knowing. Like I was planning to drive the Havoc around the countryside.....

Thanks guys. Reference pics are plentiful and do not need them right now.

Primarily detailed dimensions, performance specs, pilot reports on handling, and most importantly very nice 3-views.

Not looking to start this for a few months yet so no hurry.

We still have alot on the plate to get released and the Lodestar is still to be done.

Next year, following the A20, I will look at doing the B26 Marauder.

Light bombers. Just about my favorite class of planes for the sim and given that predilection, I've just about worn out the old SOH A-26 so the A-20 Havoc will be a perfect stablemate. As it served world wide with several air forces, it will be the perfect canvas for our texture gurus.

Next time I'm at McChord Field, I'll stop by the museum and see if they have any detailed info on the Havoc.

Thank you Jagd; greatly appreciated.

The best I have seen so far Full; thank you so much. :applause:

Oh dear, an A-20, and from the prolific factory of Milton Industries no less. It doesn't get much better! Time for me to re-read this book, by an A-20 pilot in the Pacific war. There are many handling "tid-bits" inside, which I will relate as I run across them.

That sounds great Dave. We may wish to view them when the time comes. :)

Hi Milton, I have realy good 3-views that are in a book that I could scan and send them to you in a email, I will do that in the morning when I get up. What res. would you like them in?

Scan them small at first as I may have them already. If different/better than we can scan again.

Bravo Milton!

You can't imagine my joy at seeing this thread. :applause:

Until now a sore gap on the fs2004 aircraft list, this dependable and most capable aircraft is among the most aesthetically appealing allied light bomber/night fighters of WW2.

The sounds will be ready for the bird when the time arrives.:)-
