A beautifull Expierience

I got OFF BHaH , installed it with no problem, and embarked on my career. I am flying a Fe2b and have completed 3 missions to this point. Sometimes I just like to fly instead of warping. Aircraft dynamics are excellant, and at 100% reality a true expierience. Take off and landing are as real as it gets, crabbing in bleeding off airspeed and the initial thump of the tires on terra-firma bring a smile to my face. I just wish I could smell the castor oil or the paint/dope/gasoline/leather smell of the open cockpit.

Have not flown a true fighter yet, the Fe2b has been my favorite aircraft since the old Avalon Hill Red Baron board game. I am in the process of building a scratch built r/c version. Should be done and taxi tested in April.

I am going to love this game, I have been waiting since the days of Microprose's attempt in the 80's thru the Red Baron series to Ph2.

Also I used to live less than an hour from Old Rhinebeck, and remmember the early days with Cole, the Fe8, and many of the other reproductions. I live now in Nebraska and took new wife and teen age kids there last summer for thier first ride in an open cockpit, they are dieing to do it again.

Sounds like you are in for a great time. Enjoy your time in your crate and best wishes with your build. Post a pic of it when you can please.
