A Big Christmas surprise, a new aircraft

Good job guys! :salute:

Eric 'Winkle' Brown has a good story about one of these after the war's end. One intact BV-222 was recovered in Norway, iirc. Brown flew out to collect it and bring it back for examination and was to 'supervise' the German pilot who would fly the beast. After an everlasting takeoff run over bumpy water the nose still wasn't coming up and Brown pulled on the second control column. It was locked, the German was trying to shake the a/c to pieces before any englander got his filthy mitts on it! :pop4:

The German was persuaded to move over (at gunpoint) and Brown took the controls. The BV-222 was surprisingly easy to fly, he said, although the controls were power-assisted and alarmingly light.

I am working on the missions for the BV 222 ..I expect to have all of this out to the folks, before Christmas..
I will have to have these tested by a few before release..
But I do hope to have this and the Santa Sleigh out before Christmas for all..
And there is Much rejoicing!!:applause:

Absolutely wonderful!,thank you Crossram,Major Magee and House Hobbit for this marvellous gift.
