To all,

A big thanks goes out to all those who have contributed to combing through the archives looking for missing files. I have complied all materials into a spread sheet and have drawn it to the attention of staff members. Now that there is a concrete list of file names, those responsible for restoring the library can begin their work in earnest. I will keep you apprised of any further updates and / or needs. :wavey:
 
Hi Rami,

did you include Cobrauk's repaints in your list? Those are among the best historical skins ever painted for Krzystof Malinowksi's P-47D series, A. Wai/FDG2's P-51D, FDG2's P-51B/C and Dbolt's overhauled stock F4U1-A, -D, -C Corsair, plus other aircrafts.

I was in the process of collecting them all, when SOH had the HDD crash well over a year ago and they are missing from the Addons archive ever since. At the time, we were reassured any missing file could be restored from the backups.

Will Cobrauk's repaints be restored with the other uploaded files still missing?

The way I anticipate and will request that it will work is that Douglas ad Moparmike will restore all the files available to them. If any of you have files they don't, in that case we'll arrange a transfer to these parties so they can be restored without having to be uploaded again.

But I'm not worried about that today. It's eighty-six degrees outside in early April, and I'm headed to the beach, the forty-eight water be damned!

This ole' world is really going nuts, what can we expect for this summer? Here we are having low sixties, a temperature more normal for beginning of April!

At any rate, do enjoy it, after the brutal winter we all had in the Northern emisphere and thank you for yor reply. I'll keep hoping to be able to d/l all of Cobrauk's skins one day.
