Nothing says "Please buy my SAFE helicopter," like seeing how many of the office staff you can lift at one time (reminds me of filling a VW Beetle with 20 of my collage classmates).

Although helicopters did exist in limited numbers during WWII, the Korean War period is when they became valuable combat assets.

Without a doubt, the Bell UH-1 set the standard for helicopter usage and operational flexibility that has been followed by the next generation of helicopters.
