A Dark Night at the Paintshop ........

Something stirring on a dark night? Down the hall...third on the right!
But seriously, these look masterful. I just can't wait to see them in the daylight!
Thanks Jim.:ernae:

BAMBI!!!!!!!! The irony is although a If she's better on VIf as photos of her show a dihedral tailplane.:wavey:

Hewman,

There is a Mk. VIf that has been uploaded, you can try a bit of "British ingenuity" and see if you can fit the skins to that model...

hmmm

There is a Mk. VIf that has been uploaded

I don't remember uploading that one . . .

Anyway, I do have a Beau VIF in the works, actually two of them, so the skin will fit with no problems when I do upload it . . .

..........and she didn't have Spinners either............

The "Bambi" Skin will fit Bis's VIC which has been uploaded - you'll get a dihedral tail (which you want) but a rear gunner, wrong/no radar aerials etc (which you don't want) - so best just cut me some slack on this one......

BTW the Wartime censor has deleted the aerials in this pic

BTW -2 - Bis - I'm lovin' these Beau's - keep 'em comin'

Jim

Hewman100....you spotter!!!! :costumes:

Next it'll be the wrong ashtrays fitted...he he!

Here is . . .

The next two versions almost ready for upload. These are different versions of the Mark VIF. The difference being the radar carried. The early version has a paint job from a Mark X and the thimble-nosed version has a bogus paint job. The only thing right is the serial number and that probably has the wrong font . . .

:faint:

:faint:

Not only that but the roundels on the fuselage are 6mm too far back [need a smily of nitpicking to insert here]

Seriously it is looking great.

Gavin

Not my fault she's one of the most photographed Beaufighters there is.:p:

This is the problem with being a modelmaker, if you don't notice the well documented big things you can get ripped to shreds. :faint:

Not taking anything away from the great work you guys are providing!
