A.F. Scrub has done it again!

They convert nicely with useable FRs. Now we have to figger a way to make the slats function in CFS2. The models represent an E1, E-7 and E-7 trop.

Mauro Giacomazzi's 109's have automatic slat deployment. He manages this trick via a dll that is placed in the Modules folder. The kicker is that the DLL will work with any aircraft that has slats if the folder is called MG_BF109...

So if A.F. Scrubs model has the slats then this trick should get them deploying.

Or re-designate the slats as dive brakes in scasm. Set up the air file to use divebrakes and give them very low drag, pitch and lift factors so they don't adversely affect the flight envelope and quickly bleed too much airspeed on deployment.

I tried to convert the plane.

Even though I have VMWare Player and VMWare Tools, I am still having the Windows 7 blues... it won't convert.

Regarding autoslats, didn't the groundcrew Bf-110 have a gauge based system that allowed autodeployment?

I seem to remember someone telling me how to set it up, I may have even set it up the AH 109.

Yep... the model still has to be scasm edited to change keyframe to l_spoiler so it will work.

OT... wonder when he'll get round to doin a hellcat???
