G'day All --

I am looking to acquire a good flyable B-25 Mitchell for the PTO. Does anyone out there know where I might be able to find one? It's actually for a friend who loves CFS2 but is askeered to download or install anything new in that sim. Dunnoh why...

Anyway... I also wondered what happened to the B24 Guy? Did he leave SOH?

Thanks in advance and keep your eye on the altimeter...

Thanks for the info Seagull V! That's a start. How could I have forgotten about the Alphasim B-25??? :isadizzy: I was almost certain that the B24 Guy, a (former?) member here at SOH had done a flyable version of the stock CFS2 B-25 Mitchell, if there ever was such a thing. My friend can definately use the Alpha Mitchells tho...

Hey Sopwith Chameleon --

I remember reading alot of your posts from my CFS2 days... :wiggle:
It appears that there are no files in the CFS2 section to download from the link you gave me... COuld it be because it's been a while, or do I need to create an account with that site in order to have access to the download list....?

:icon_lol: - Yep, you need to sign up - you can get extra Skins from the Paintshop (see my sig) - Tango's B25 Series is also @ Simvi

Cheers,

Jim

Thanks Mate... I have a go. If nothing else, I'll have my friend sign up so that HE can get Tango's B-25 Mitchell.

I did find the files from the B-24 Guy too. So far, It looks to be the Alpha Oldie Mitchells for him.

Thanks Fibber... I did find the OH B-25 in the Warbirds Archive as well.

Turns out that this fellow's uncle was a Mitchell pilot and he just wanted one to fly missions with in CFS2. So I'm going to help him get one going... and give him a few lessons on how to download and install planes and scenery in CFS2. I've already recruited him to membership here at SOH. Just gotta get him to start visiting you all.

I told him that just when he thinks he's got the B-25 mastered, try flinging one off the deck of a carrier.

That's great! I salute you! :salute:

You can also try the 1% B-25H, found here at SOH under downloads by 1% Video: http://s81.photobucket.com/albums/j220/Pechora07/?action=view&current=NorthBaseRaid.mp4

That H model is the one I stuck with...has the 75mm cannon mounted in the nose. Can't remember where I got it from now but I have a substitute panel with bomb site on it designed ages ago by Ickie.

Whole Series

Blackbird, TR's whole Mitchell series (about a half dozen models) is also available at SimV and no membership is required to download there. :kilroy::kilroy:
