While over in Central Washington scouting for some new waterfowl hunting areas, I stopped in at the Hastings book store in Moses Lake. Lots of great new and used books for sale. After perusing the offerings, I picked up "The Twilight Warriors" by Robert Gandt.
While I've only read the first couple of chapters, I can heartily recommend it as a good tale about the last big battle of the Pacific Theater, the battle for Okinawa and the exploits of VFB-10, the Grim Reapers. It looks like it will do for the final USN campaign what "The First Team" did for the first aerial campaigns following Pearl Harbor.
