A Lockheed "Rounder"

Just plain WOW.....

Milton, this incredible. Like PRB, I think this could be my favorite too....and as much as I love the Cat and the AT-11 (heck, I love all your planes, I still go back to the Executive for some joyriding)

Thank you, and thanks to all the skinners and sound guy (Nigel I guess?) when they get going...

:applause::applause::applause:

Well, thank you sir. It is nice to hear.

Had to put the Harpoon on a temporary hold as we get these library moves done but should be back on it by the end of the week.

Only thing I'm working on now is Tankerguy72's PB4Y-2 flight model and it is coming along great.

We have the Dash 7's textures and sounds coming along, the Avia 57's textures and sounds coming all from Nigel, and the Harpoon still in mapping phases.

Lots to come in the coming months. :)

I would like to see N2056 take on the Tigercat's FSX and VC transition if he gets to a reasonable point that it could happen.

Yes Sir!

Good enough inspiration for the ALL-NEW WIP Tigercat sounds to be alloted their relevant schedule.

But first things, first!

Back to my workshop - see you all soon :wavey:

Happy flying!

Mapping Progress

The major body parts are now mapped. Time to get serious about all those smaller parts now. :)

It's all about choices Pat; som ewe made a few months ago earlier in this thread. :)

Got enough of the mapping done to send a package off to Fliger to work on the FM.

About done with the miscellaneous items mapping so I can move inside to the VC work.

I lobbed on some temporary gray so Tom would not have to deal with a "coat of many colors".

Streuth!:applause:

This magnificent beauty bares little or no resemblance to the early WIP development model I have been using.

The VERY heavy lifting is clear for all to view and admire! :medals::jump:

A few hilarious flight test adventures, but a very nice airplane. Make you appreciate the guys who actually did flight test in this era!

Yep, back then there were no computer simulators, learning to fly a new design started with theory on paper, then try to fly it and learn all the quirks in its handling. Test pilots were pretty well compensated in their time and they were well compensated for a reason. :isadizzy:

You're teasing us now Milton :icon_lol:, all the shipping containers with new paint arrived at my virtual Airstrip earlier so am standing by to start slinging paint :salute:

Hey Matt; you are up late again! :wavey:

I got diverted from the miscellaneous mapping so still have about 30 items left to map on the exterior. I really want to get the mapping done soon so I can move "inside" to model the VC and interior.

The exterior panel lines will certainly require more effort on this one :)

You work on "that Fokker" was very impressive. :applause:

yeah i'm somewhat of an oddity.... can cope for extended periods on 3 hours sleep per day, that little Fokker has become somewhat of a testbed for myself, trying new techniques, refining older techniques etc... currently repainting my 'Warbird Chase plane' though, gotta have something to get air-air shots with :icon_lol:

paint hangar 2 is all clear, 1 is filled with little Fokkers... so upon arrival just sling her inside the hangar and i'll have the crews prepping for paint :salute:

Yikes, I was wrong about the misc. parts left to map, me, the eternal optimist.

There are over 160 parts left to map! Good grief, and that's just the exterior model.
