That 3.5GHz and vid card, plus 8g ram (getting W7 aren't you) ought to do very nicely. I almost think I shouldn't have got a 1T HD, at least for what I do. All the eggs in one basket you know, and doing a chkdsk or wiping free space, well I usually go to work while all that's going on. But for serious artwork with scads of images and such I don't think there is ever too much memory space. I didn't build my own either but discussed what I could afford and had the local store tech build it for me. That way it would work and have a warranty.:icon_lol:

so i had to be very crafty... it involved tripping out the fuse box... but i got to my dads old work laptop.... no FS but it did have PS and Illustrator... so i can't test my paints but i can communicate and do graphics.... first of which will be a new personal website for myself....
