There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

That's great news on both counts. Thank you, Lagaffe!

Oh boy, my face is red. Good thing I don't actually fly in real air.
Sorry to derail thread
Just 1 question to the Cessna ( in fact GA) specialists !
Was the plane with wheelcovers any faster then the one without?
Any other benefit apart weight up ( and probaly a wheel turns all time problem )?
Thanks for enlightening
Roland
PS:My late friend told me-->In WW2 Ju-87 and many others had that ton Russian front airfields, they had to be dismounted ( mud condition) as they made the wheels stuck. Now by surprise the non cover planes were a bit faster then the ones with them he said ( and he flew them a lot)
My wife like the wheel pants. And my thoughts when we owned the 100HP 150? If conditions are such where 18 pounds is going to make a difference whether the airplane safely flies or not, it probably is best that one just stays on the ground.
With the 150/150 the pants do make a noticeable difference in cruise speed. Before pants it would show 120-125MPH cruise. With the pants we see 130MPH quite consistently.

The ADF will be solved and a version 2.0 is ready to be publish.

Good news!
I hope this year.
