A new error I have not gotten until today

Not good. Thought I had found solution, but nope. Popups up within a few minutes of starting a flight. NC

You have run out of video memory. If you are trying to run large files with a lot of4096 textures or scenery settings on too high levels, your video card can't cope. Are you in V4.5 or V5?
 
As Baz says. I was getting it a lot when I had max texture settings on 4096. Reducing setting to 2048 stopped that error. My eyes could not see the difference in regular use of the sim, i.e. flying. If you just want to take screeenshots with lots of detail, then you can reset to 4096 in texture max load settings, but be prepared in high scenery areas.

Thanks Don and Baz,

I am running V5 with a LOT of Orbx, a fair amount of addon scenery, and in 4096 at max texture settings. I will dial things back as you suggest, and cross my fingers! Thanks, NC
 
Yep, definitely with that card trying to run V5 with the add-ons and settings you describe, you are living dangerously! We are really hoping that LM get this sorted as it makes testing for us very difficult. We also don't want to have to be releasing two different sets of models and textures for what is basically the same sim. Hope dialling back gets you sorted. It should do.:engel016:
 
Well, turning down resolution to 2048 seemed to have worked. I am hesitant to say so, but so far! Thanks! :ernaehrung004: NC
