That looks very interesting, but I do have to ask what the French floating fighter with the BFG's under the wings is...?

A friend works at present on this project:

This aircraft is from the animated film "Porco Rosso" by Hayao Miyazaki. It's called Savoia S21 and is clearly inspired by racing seaplanes 20s.
I put my hand on this plane by chance on the X-Plane forum. The X-Plane in itself is very well done. A fact increasingly common for some freeware he meets perfectly the unit of the film.
The author has made available the sources Blender, I had the crazy idea to focus on the Microsoft simulators. Permission having been granted on porting 06/05/2012 by DDENN Russian author of this gem, I set to work to have this aircraft in FS2004 first.
The version that you can already download and golds is a beta (missing virtual cockpit) but it is already "flyable" FS2004 and P3D.

Thank you for this little helicopter! Easy but fun to fly, great for scenery exploring!

Update: Downloaded and I love this thing! Very well done. Easy to fly as well. Great for newbies that want to learn to fly a helo. This is hot!

Thanks for the link! Great to see how it all came to be. I particularly love the hovering instrumentation. Very ingenious. I like the readouts and the hover balance readout. Some good thinking there. It takes the place of an artificial horizon.

I had a blast flying it last night around Edwards AFB. Because it is so light and holds its spot in the air, you can manuver between buildings and down roads very easily. The small rotor diameter allows you to get between narrow spots easily.

I did make 2 repaints last night. Neon Blue and Porsche Red. May have to do a Yellow variant today.

Nice work!
