A new idea for Pearl Harbour scenario Japanese aircraft fleet
Hi gents,
I had a new idea to add to the IJNAF aircraft fleet variety for our Pearl Harbour scenario, helping the full-immersion historical factor.
Since Talon's Kate package doubles several skins in order to have both torpedo bomber and level bomber dps, such as Akagi "AI-308" torp. and LB, Hiryu "BII-101" torp. and LB, Kaga "AI-325" torp. and LB and so on, I decided to do a few skins of aircrafts from the same carriers to replace the doubles. Of course, I hope to find profiles that can be adapted to the exhisting liveries I did already.
To start with, I am using Smashing Time's great mottled camo skin of "BI-181", carrier Soryu, to do the attached below, very nice, Wings Palette's profile of "BII-307". Flown by an unknown pilot during the Pearl attack from carrier Hiryu, the profile seems to indicate it was an aircraft belonging to the level bomber force.
I like it a lot for the camouflaged outer bottom wing sections, which differentiates it a lot from other Kates. I think it can replace nicely the doubled "BII-101" level bomber skin.
I will upload it as soon as the damage textures will be ready.
