A new Italian aircraft, the FIAT CR.32

Hi Friends,
After holydays I'm newly here.
A friend of mine sent me a beautiful model (3DS Max) of the famous FIAT CR.32, the best Italian fighter between the wars.
The model, highly detailed and made only for rendering, due to the big number of polys isn't suitable for FS9 (or CFS2), but for FSX only.
It will be my first FSX native model, probably with the help of Stefano Meneghini (PCmeneg).

And a very pretty aeroplane indeed.
Take your time, we can wait and as a first FSX project you will be learning new skills.

Thank you Manuele! This type of news always makes me very happy. In CFS2 I already flew the CR.32 from Corrado la Posta, in FS9 the Cr.32 from Lago and now there is the exiting news that there will be an FSX native version!

For me the CR.32 is a fighter which represents Italy during the inter war period. In shiny aluminium dope it shows the grandeur of the pre-war Regia Aeronautica and in its dull camouflage schemes it represents the dawn of war.

Like most probably most people here, I am really looking forward to this one!

Thanks again,
Huub

How on Earth did you miss the MAW one? § :biggrin-new:

JK, Corrado

§ still available here.

Corrado, the answer is actually quite simple. CFS3 never became my game. I have installed it several times, but it didn't catch me. I have even tried the BoB update with all the repaints by "foute man". But when the major updates like MAW and ETO came, I had already moved to other flight sims.

Even mild pressure from Mathias P. could not convince me to reinstall CFS3 again.

Cheers,
Huub
