Okay guys... I got the view thing figured out... it'll be tedious, but I'll try to incorporate that into my videos to add some dimensions...

Next on my list is a FREE :engel016: voice grabber. I bought a microphone and headset less than an hour ago, and what I want to do is record my voice into a program as .wav files, which I will somehow meld in with my videos. I will be doing narration and mostly over-the-radio sounds, which means I have to find a way to get a "over-the-radio" effect to mask over my voice once I record my voice...

I know... ANOTHER Mission Impossible from me :faint:. You're all conspiring to kick me out... :gossip:. But I really want my videos to be a LOT better than just thrown-together clips of airplanes flying around... I see a lot of IL-2 videos on the "Tube, and I just KNOW that CFS-2, although some of the camera angles can't be matched in the Senior Sim... this old REALLY needs to shine!

Remember... keyword... FREE! :taekwondo: I've done some research already, and I am at the Rec Center here at Kent State for a few hours to play basketball... :karate: :karate: :costumes:

Audacity is my best bet for what you need. Easy to use but excellent sound quality and quite a good variety of options.

Thanks greycap! That's the one I wound up getting.

I haven't found out how to make my voice sound like it's coming through a radio, however... stumper... :bump:

Buy a very cheap set of kids walki-talkies from K-mart or whatever your local budget store is. I've got a set for my daughter and they sound just crappy enough to be useful for your task. IIRC they only cost me £5. Sit one by your microphone and talk into the other from a distance.

might work?
