• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

A humble prayer for the SOH.


Lord,

You have blessed us with a great place to meet and chat with people about flying and life. For some, we have made friendships where we would otherwise have none, friends that live on the far side of Earth even.

We thank you.

Lord, it seems lately that angry words have been flying about. Many feelings have been hurt, many people have left.

Lord we pray that you would bless us with peaceful words, peaceful phrases, a peaceful atmosphere of friendship and good conversations.

In the name of your Son Jesus Christ, we pray,

I'll give an amen to that! Sorry to hear about all this. I must not read the posts with all the conflict. Really, is there a better place to go? I would be lost without SOH, geez, I get scared if it does not show up on my monitor right away!
 
Bill,....your prayer is most welcome. As stated by Mariereid, I wasn't aware about any conflict going on at the SOH. Or at least in the FS9 forum. Yeah,...persons tend to forget this is a forum for the enjoyment over aircraft,...real or one's viewed on the computer screen.

I value all the friendships made on this site; all of them. And I admire and respect all the expertise and knowledge that is shared on this forum EVERY day.

I'm not a religious person...but I agree 100% with your sentiments ,Bill.:ernae:

It may be recessionary times.....but respect for our fellow enthusiasts doesn't cost a dime. :)

Thanks for these Words, Bill! I haven´t been around that much latelely so the fuzz somehow passed by me I must confess. But I too wish for a more calmed down and respectfull atmosphere. It´s what made this place what it is!
