...Is there a Kaman Husky available? It would be neat to have one to use as AI in air base sceneries. The Husky was the main base rescue helicopter during my time in the Air Force.

David Eckert did one way back when for FS2000, looks like it's still available on FlightSim.com.
I don't know about using it as AI personally, I don't have Heli Traffic on my system, but if you are just looking for one for AI it would probably do.
Image the poly count is pretty low too, which would be great for AI traffic.

Eckert actually created one for FS2004/2004 that you could obtain through the right contacts on the Hovercontrol forums (may still be there in a link if you do some deep searching). Other than that, there isn't one that I know of, definitely not for FSX at least.

Thanks guys.:salute: All I'm interested in using it for is AI traffic.

Update: I found the "Husky." Unfortunately, it's a 2000 model. It will not display in FSX. I tried to convert it to a static model but, again, NO JOY.
Looks like I'll just keep my trusty little Bell H-13. I expect I'll also pay another visit to Hovercontrol.

Still looking...

...NO REAL JOY yet. No luck at Hovercontrol finding anything about an update of Dave's 2000 model. I did find a "static" version included in Team SDB's Bein Hoa Air Base but, not sure I want to purchase the scenery just for one static object since I already have all of the Vietnam War Project installed.

The really sad thing is that I once purchased a copy of Bien Hoa and now cannot find it. And to top things off, I just check and found that I had 19 FREE downloads left which expired this past February, 2103.

I just sent an e-mail to FS Pilot Shop and asked if there was anyway I could get another copy. We'll see what the answer is. I'm really "hard headed" and have become obsessed with getting this helicopter installed as a static object in one of my sceneries. Most likely if I can't get a "free" download, I'll wind up buying the scenery again.

Update: Have already recieved two e-mails this morning. One from Team SDB and one from FS Pilot Shop. I now have another copy of Bien Hoa
Air Base. Man! I have to say that is outstanding custom service.
