A Quiet Sunday Afternoon Hop

Not much going on around here this afternoon, so I decided to fly another leg in one of my long distance flights. I started this one in the JBK Boeing Stratoliner a while back in Memphis Tennessee, flew around the Southern US, then across the Atlantic via Bermuda and the Azores to Casablanca, headed north to the UK, then down to Rome and stopped last time in Athens. This time I flew on to Tel Aviv Israel. Got some nice contrails going along the way too, although I did get caught landing at dusk at LLBG. I seem to be doing that a lot lately.

There doesn't seem to be many pics of flights lately, so I thought I'd share a few. The 2nd pic has the USS Saratoga and USS Idaho in the background. Lod Airport (LLBG) scenery courtesy of California Classics.
