A salute to an old SOH member

I'd like to post a salute to the old SOH forum member, Helldiver

He will be missed.
He was very passionate about his aircraft.

I guess that I should have made it clear that I too do not know if he has passed away, my apologies to all SOH forum members by unintentionally promoting that he had passed away.

It's just been years since we have heard from him. IIRC he was in his 80's way back then.
I know that he loved the Curtiss SB2C and that there were several "discussions" here, as hot as they can get, about the old Navy workhorse vs, the Dauntless.
You know what happens when you assume something.
I liked the ol' grumpy bear, if I'm allowed to say so.
