A tech question about downloads

Hi everybody! :wavey:

I have a small question about redirecting outloads to my download accellerator, instead of using the built-in browser utility which does not allow resuming downloads in different connect sessions.

With the old SOH website I could get the link address of the download by copying it while my browser started downloading and then pasting it into the URL window of my DAP. Download would start right away and I could get a big file downloaded in a few days, if I wanted.

Since the new website software switch it doesn't work anymore, it seem like the URL to the file I want to d/l is sort of hidden.

Where can I get it?

Better Downloads

What browser are you using, Stefano ?

I use FireFox Ver 3.6.6, and have Download Helper 4.7.3 AND Download Status Bar 0.9.6.8 installed... Always a fast retrieval with this combination.

I just downloaded and installed both Firefox extensions. Unfortunately, I am still using Win98 to connect and the Download Status Bar version available for my Firefox v.2.0 (the last usable by Win98), still does not allow resuming a paused download after shutting down the browser, which is what I was able to do with Download Accelerator Plus (DAP).

I have been toiling with a project of building an Internet-dedicated pc for ages now. Only XP, AVG antivirus, no important applications and a small HDD; if I get a virus, format the hell out of it, re-install the OS + the antivirus and start anew in little time!

I must make up my mind, fight my lazybone nature and do it!
