The New NVIDA Driver is out.Its the " 314,22.."Using Win 7 64bit, GTX 570,has anyone tried this? if so any issues that may be shared? This as it relates to FSX...
My experience is that Caution is needed when installing new drivers .Often they are dedicated to some new game, and they impact FSX negatively!....Thanx...Vin!

I've found Nvidia to always be very reliable. I always save the last drivers I installed that way if something goes wrong with the new ones you can always backup to the earlier drivers. I will be installing the new drivers on my 650Ti.

Thanx Paul..volumes have been written as how to dot it..Installing or removing Nvidia Drivers...most recommenced Purging completely, with clean re-install....I too have done what you say.with disastrous results...there are tools to do this,To remove all residue of the driver to be removed,...however its this New Driver I question, the 314.22,and its impact on our FSX ,and not some Game that it is offered for..Thanx my Friend..Vin

For what it's worth, I "updated" to this driver version and began to see
CTDs.
For this reason, I have reverted to version 311.06 WHQL and have no intention
of updating to the 314.xx series again.
That said, some of my colleagues have also updated with no negative, or positive effects.

As to changing drivers, I always use the "custom options\clean install" option and have not had any problems
for years.

Regards,
Nick.

Thanx Nick...I have come to the conclusion that "If It Ain't broke..Leave It Be.!!...I do not think mine is broke,The New driver is clear that it favors some new games....Nvida drivers are great, but their reference to Microsoft Flight Sims is scarce....Cheers My Friend..Vin

Last word!..Tom over at TOH said this " I tried them Vin. Win 7 64 bit nVidia GT 630. No problems at all. Orbx scenery around Bowerman sharp and detailed. Pegged at 30fps.

Now I'm off to try with Flight and Railworks. "...Now its just ones own decision. to make..Thanx All Vin
