A Thank You To Nick For His Tutorial

I firstly wanted to make this post to thank Nick for his help with the wonderful tutorial he posted. I have seen a lot of threads on here lately about people wanting to build new computers for FSX (myself included I just haven't made a post). After doing some calculations and coming up with a $1800 price tag for what I wanted. I figured I would give Nick's tips a try. I want to tell anyone waiting on the sidelines, or with a half decent PC it is 100% worth the time invested to go through his guide and set up your FSX and PC like he suggests. It got rid of all the massive stuttering/stammering that I experienced with more complex aircraft such as PMDG's MD-11. I had just about lost hope for my laptop and I decided that before shelling out the $$ I would at least give his ideas a try. So thank you very much for the tutorial, and saving me a ton of money. Have a cold one on me. :guinness: I hope that if there is anyone else like I was sitting on the sidelines that this will help pursuade them to tweak their system. Yep, I used that same Tutorial. Made a lot of difference in the way FSX ran on my system as well.
 
Thanks a bunch RB, I set my FSX system and nHancer from that before I lost my mainframe in July. Lost the link to it too. Thanks for bringing it back, bookmarked this time and saved to an External HD.

Never used it myself...

Looked to complicated to do , nor did I need its help on my system...

But you are correct..Nick is brilliant with FSX and Windows.
 
I've had that thread by Nick Needham bookmarked for a while now, in anticipation of a new PC in the autumn, once Windows 7 is out. Good to hear someone has found success following his advice.
