A2A B-17 paint "Dinah Might"

Here’s a paint of the B-17 my dad flew on his 1st mission on April 10th 1944, “Dinah Might”. I couldn’t find a pinup photo that matched so I borrowed parts from about 6 dif. pinup gals to create her, I feel kinda like a Dr. Frankenstein! I added some dents on the fuselage, leading edge, and front of the cowlings for more realism. File name here is: FSX B-17G "Dinah Might" Enjoy!

Great stuff Chuck. Does anyone know if new paints also fit the non-Accusimed version?

Great repaint Chuck!

I thought they have the same lay-out. I was always told that the repaints for the non-Accusimed version did fit the Accusimed version. So I assume it works the other round as well.

Works!!

Thanks Chuck:ernae:

That's good to know Roger, I don't have anyway to have checked that out since I'm now converted to accusim. The texture for the front fuselage texture is 4096 (the other 4 are 2048), most accusim paints are 2048 for this piece so it's a bit of an overkill reducing it down to 1024, but I'm glad it works!

Hi Chuck,
Texture resolution is all down to:
[GRAPHICS]
TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD=1024 or 2048 or 4096 etc. I have mine set to 2048 so I'm seeing most of the detail.

Yep should work ok as you have found out Roger, the only issue for you will be you dont get the extra shine and lighting of the new model etc. So the colours may be a little OFF
