A2A Cub repaint

Posted this on the A2A forum but didn't get any response. Wondered if anyone here could help.

I was wondering if anyone has done or could indeed do any repaints for the superb A2A Cub in a lower resolution format? Without doubt the cub is meant to be flown low and slow and with this in mind I like to turn up my scenery settings when flying her. However this does impact a little on my fps and I was hoping to perhaps regain them with a lower resloution repaint.
Any ideas anyone?

I don't think the repaint would help.
Did you try setting your FPS limit to 'unlimited' ?
 
The Cub has one texture file of 4096 by 4096 pixels.
You could resize it to 2048 x 2048 and see if that helps.
I did the same thing for the FSD P-38, and that one looked just as nice
