Even after downloading 30 day trial versions of Adobe and Corel 4X trying Gimp resetting my virtual memory to the size of free space on my HD I still can't get the A2A paint kit to open.
It either crashes the program or I get out of memory warnings.
Buuuuuummer!!!!!!:banghead:
So are any of you willing to take on a Operation Torch repaint of the P-40 with the yellow outlined star and flag on the sides? I would give it a go myself but^

Thanks in advance

Just so you know someone has made a proper paint kit for it by breaking the huge file up (the 400mb one) in to seperate files like what we are accustomed to. It is over on their forums at www.a2asimulations.com . I would give you the direct link, but I have not even had time to download it yet myself as I have been testing some stuff. I can imagine you would need a lot of RAM to open the original kit though. Especially if you have a lot of processes that are already running at the time.. I never knew they put P-40's on ships either. Learn something cool and new everyday.

Thanks for the HU on the smaller kit. I had been checking but it must have slipped under my radar.
I have 8 gigs of ram but suspect it's not all being used.
And the cool thing I learned today Adobe CS5 has a 64 bit version which I downloaded with the rest of the free trial which would open the kit for me.
So cancel request unless someone just wants to do it.Here is what I have gotten so far.
Keep in mind not used to adobe photoshop and this is very beta.
Uploading soon.View attachment 56383View attachment 56385View attachment 56384
