a2a P-47 without Accusim

Accusim impacts only the aircraft for which it was made.
There is one Accusim extension for the P47, and another one for the P-51, and another one for the Spitfire etc... To each his own.
There won't be any impact on other aircrafts in your hangar.

You might be confusing with AccuFeel, from the same company. AccuFeel will impact all of the sim, by adding some of the immersion elements from Accusim (wind noise, open/close canopy engine volume, behavior on water, etc...).

And keep in mind, if you take the P-47 and the Accusim extension for the P-47, you can always:
- disable totally Accusim (if you don't want to care about engine damage) with a single click on a 2D popup panel, and re-enable it with another click.
- Repair your damaged aircraft with another click on another 2D popup window.

Thank you! Just wish PC Aviator had the accusim add on for the P-47 the only have the aircraft. Might have to buy from FS Pilot shop though I try to stay away from them now becuase they charge for re downloading after a year or so.
 
You could also buy it straight from A2A's website.

As far as the Jug goes, it's my favorite aircraft in FSX, and I couldn't go without Accu-Sim. Such a joy to fly, and there are a TON of repaints. Thanks Jankees, for the majority of them.

Now is A2A would just do an Fw190, I'd be in flightsim Heaven.

Ordering directly from the A2A store is the safest solution. And you get a small discount if you get the aircraft and its dedicated Accusim extension at the same time (it's a checkbox at the bottom of the aircraft dedicated page, yo get 5 dollars less if I remember correctly).

And yes, for me too, the P-47 is still today the A2A aircraft that gets the highest number of flying hours. Even though its Accusim module is not as detailled as the most recent A2A planes (you can't repair just the organ that you damaged, you can only go to factory-new aircraft, unlike most recent planes where you can replace only the part that you damaged), it's still the one that gives me most pleasure. I'm not sure why, honnestly. I just love it.
 
A fondness for the A2A P-47 (like mine) probably coincides with the same feelings of the real-world owners/pilots that have flown the aircraft. When compared to its contemporaries, the P-47 is described as being smooth to fly/handle, like a jet, and very stable, but with surprisingly light ailerons. The real aircraft is also often described as being easy to land, both in period and modern accounts - largely due to its wide-track landing gear, which allows the aircraft to track straight down the runway with little to no effort on the part of the pilot. It also doesn't require much brake to turn on the ground, despite a non-steerable tailwheel - the rudder is quite effective.

The idea behind keeping Accu-sim optional and even making sure then when Accu-sim is present it can be turned ON/OFF was exactly to make sure as many people as possible could enjoy the simulation from the hardcore realism simmers to the relaxed realism flyers.

The premise was simple, during development if the baby was taking a kip you might only have 10mins and in mins you need that option for a pedal to the metal sans consequences for some fun.

Thanks for all the wonderful advice and I have purchased both packages and flown her twice and only blown the engine once so far lol. As far as I can tell this is just the right amount of systems modeling for my taste. Thanks again.
 
I'm glad you enjoy it. You did an excellent choice.
And you will see: the more you fly it, the more you learn to "feel" it. In the end, even with Accusim always on that bird become almost easy to fly, and you can really get a good feeling of the "power" of her engine.
