A2A Simulations has today announced the development of another classic General Aviation aircraft, the V-Tail Beechcraft Bonanza!
In a development update, Scott from A2A spoke about what the development team had been up to for the last six months.
In a video posted to YouTube, Scott talked about previous projects before announcing the V-Tail Bonanza, he said: “We’re proud to bring you both it’s rival and undisputed king in its class, the V-Tail Beechcraft Bonanza.”
He continued: “Now we have the V-Tail in Alpha testing I can tell you now, that the Bonanza V-Tail pilot, has more in common with a warbird pilot than a Commanche pilot. The balanced controls on this aircraft are second to none”
Along with the announcement of the V-Tail Bonanza, Scott also touched upon another aircraft the team have in development, this section of the video was accompanied with a black screen with the sounds of an oxygen mask underneath the narration.
He said: “We have been working on a secret project that has kept us quiet, while we still can’t share the details, we can say we have a new kind of Accusim engine in development.”
In the video, he also talked about the company’s new website, along with the integration of a rewards program to “reward their most loyal customers”.

I only flew a friend's V-Tail a few times. I wished then I could afford one. Scott said something that really resonated with me, "it isn't like flying any other GA aircraft, it is more like flying a warbird." I have three V-Tails in my sims and none of them fly like the real thing, not even X-Plane's. I'm looking forward to this one. I'm always broke 'cause now I'm retired and live on SS and a small pension but this time I will find a way. I love the 180 the team at A2A did but this will be something special.

This one does look very special. Will likely be my first A2A (not WOP) purchase.

Hi, it looks like really close from now. The model is in beta stage.
September maybe?

Maybe yes, maybe no.
Really will need to be very special for me to spend anything with this lot.
But never say never.

Looking forward to this one. I have several Bonanza's but they do not feel right. I have about 300 hours in a V tail. I loved that plane to fly.

I'm starting to come round!

Same here. I really have to give A2A credit for their marketing. Not only do they produce first-class FS aircraft, but their promos make me want to purchase planes that I'd be ambivalent about under normal circumstances. Scott and his team have such an infectious enthusiasm. I already have their Cub, 172, T-6, Cherokee, and Comanche....in addition to countless other payware & freeware GA singles. I need another GA single like I need a hole in my head. I respect the V-tail Bonanza's reputation and place in history, but it's normally not a plane I'd get too worked up about in FS...yet somehow I'm immediately compelled to spend (most likely) $50 USD or thereabouts for a Bonanza thanks to A2A. A digital Jedi Mind Trick??... :biggrin-new: Keep up the magnificent work, A2A!
