A2A Simulations Fw-190 Dora....

Blackbird686

SOH-CM-2025
Have any of you proud owners of the A2A Simulations/Wings of Power Fw-190D (Long Nose) package for FS9 ever had a problem with the tail wheel rotating the wrong way? I just re-installed the package and I didn't see this little hiccup until I landed the bird and went to the spot view for the taxi-to-park. I have owned a licensed copy of this package for about 5-6 years... And don't recall ever seeing this before. Everything else works on the variants in FS9, including my inability to land these planes without bouncing them all the way down the runway.

If this was an issue initially.. and I missed it all of those years... :isadizzy: is there a fix?

I have the Long Nose pack with the update installed and sure enough it does roll backwards. No biggie though as I had never spotted it until you mentioned it.

Try here. There are a few updates and service packs listed. They might have one for it.

I installed the update patch that was originally posted on the A2A website for the FS9 Dora, as I have for the last 3 installs of the plane on as many systems. It crisps up the textures a lot and fixes a few cockpit control functionality issues.... but not the tail wheel. Buggah!!!

I spoke with Scott over at A2A and he said that it is a bug in the model that most likely won't be addressed at this point. I guess in flight... the tail wheel really isn't an issue... but it's so BIG, one can't help but notice it whilst on the ground.

Thanks -- BB686:USA-flag:
