A2A Simulations P-47 Video Teaser and a few screens

Bomber, it is being researched. The problem comes from that the examples we are building upon do not feature those plates, or at least we are not seeing them. In the pictures you provided, they can however be clearly seen. Once we have come to a conclusion, discussed it and the modeler makes an attack plan, then we will see a change.

Basically, we are researching. Thank you however for mentioning this.

Incredible video! I passed on their Stratocruiser as four engines is two too many for me to comfortably handle, but I am happy to see A2A working on a single engine war bird. :applause:

Ok ive looked into.

The plate as bomber says is there, it is also there on our P47 model and skin as Ive checked the current released p47 from us and its on there, its also on ICDP's paintkit I have.

The mix-up I think arises to how 'prominent' this feature is. The painted p47's naturally don't show this feature at all well as the entire bird is painted over, and the same applies ot early chrome looking models.

Were'as it appears the modern warbird that you have Bomber has the plate polished up to make it a 'feature' and the same has been done to a few of the later p47's when camo and paint was no longer the name of the game.

So to round-up is; yes the plate is there, and yes once the paintkit is out there you will be able to pronounce this feature if you so wish desire using the main texture alpha and the spec's together.

Thankyou Bomber for pointing this one out, its little things like this that as you say do make the differance even though utter confusion can be had at first. :ernae:

That plane looks really great guys! I'm definately buying it! The only thing that's held me back from the Accusim 377 is the fear of four engines. :)

I couldn't tell from the video, does that reticle have a real HUD effect to it?

Outstanding work gents! :applause::applause::applause:

Really looking forward to it! I have a soft spot for the Razorback :jump:

But...but...but, where's the combat mode in Accusim? :costumes:

Sweet video!

She is looking very sharp, and the new features sound very interesting. I am definitely looking forward to its release!

If I could add a small criticism, she should have some steel on her belly though. :)

Great photos and thanks for pointing this out Bomber. I always try to get my work as authentic as possible and the best way to do that is to research as much as I can. Having said that it can be very easy to miss sometimes very obvious features. I have added the darker steel areas as you have suggested.

Many thanks once again. :ernae:

Martin, you of course do exceptional work, of which I admire, and I know you researched the P-47 and its particular paint schemes to the finest detail. These aircraft are insanely difficult to know everything about. I'm still learning new tidbits about the P-51B/C, every day, as I have been working to refine the FSX versions, even though I spent a year and half deep into manuals, production documents, videos, photos, and history books learning all I could about the aircraft.

I'm glad you took my remark with a 'grain of salt', and I am very much looking forward to seeing the final product first hand! :)

Any chance we could get a bubble canopy sometime? :kilroy:

I hate to spoil the mood but Im wondering the same.

While this is very impressive and i will be getting it at release, my soft spot lies in the bubble top, which i always thought was much more sleek looking

Making a bubble top P47 is something we would like to do, yes. However, even though these are all P47's, that would not be a small project - the p47's went through large transformations from model to model. The one thing that keeps us sane in our development is to really focus on what is at hand and not get side tracked. This Razorback pack has turned out, like the Stratocruiser, to become something much bigger than we had originally planned. Once this is done and the smoke has cleared, we can then see how realistic a later model p47 pack would be.

Scott.

I'd like to see an A2A Simulations mustang for FS-X, hopefully with cockpit shadows like alphasims T-34C where you see the shadow of the cockpit on the wings!

BTW i like the previews of this p-47 as well :applause:

kind regards,

Meso

Tonight I flew the P-47 over the new FTX AU Red scenery. I just can't wait for the accu-sim version. The old normal version is nice, but having a warbird of that detail will be incredible. Bring it on!:friday:
