A2A WOPIII P-47 Out Now!!!

Looking great Jankees, you don't hang about do you :)

I see you have highlighted the warped texture mapping issues on the rear fuselage. I apologise for that as I made a decision to ignore this problem and work around the warping. Normally I would get ROB to fix any such mapping problems to make painting/repainting much easier. Unfortunately ROB's time was 100% taken up with the B377 SP1 update. Had I waited for ROB to get the time to fix the problem I would still be painting the P-47 and we would still be many weeks away from release.

Sorry again, I hope you don't take this as a poor excuse but as a valid explanation.

Happy painting jankes... and Epsillon (I know you are lurking) :)

Jan, It's great to hear you happy again. Looking forward to lots of your excellent textures for this Great new P47, Now if someone can do a really good "Tar Heel Hal" (lots of colors) Life would return to narvana.(hint, hint) I've only been able to get an hour or so in this offering, but man is it Immersive. Love having to monitor all the systems or down I go. Waiting anxiously for all the new textures you talented folks will offer. What a great place and time to be a simmer.

ol'jarhead :rapture:

Keeping that big fat radial from smoking needs some monitoring, really need to get myself a Track IR system, how many times does a guy need to crash looking at his instruments and throttle quadrant ? Oh, anybody have a bigger rudder I can borrow? This thing don't like going straight down the runway !!!!!!

Do I sound like I'm complaining ? I'm loving it, it takes thought and practice.

I'll stick a thread up shortly with all three airfields suitable for the P-47 on.

Possibly even links to them, if I can actually get to write readmes without my back throwing a major fit!

There's an updated Halesworth coming very soon, Barry, with corrected landclass south of the airfield to put Halesworth village where it should be and a technical area around the Eastern T.2 hangar, where it should be. It's done, but not zipped up and as my back is now throwing a total wobbly at me, it won't be for a few hours.

I also have RAF Wormingford, which will go very nicely with the G8-Z "My Gal Sal" livery and, I'll keep the last one a bit of a surprise. Not much of one, admittedly, but hopefully some people will find it fun.

Neil: Painkillers have finally kicked in and I've just been writing readme files, so I'll post a thread with all three fields on shortly.

(P.S. Ahem. Look at my signature... Although the new ones aren't on there yet.)
