The point with oil dilution is to use it when you think you will start the aircraft in cold conditions. Since flights can be saved, if you find yourself landing in Alaska, you may want to dilute the engine prior to shutting down. It will make the next load of the aircraft easier to start.

I assume that dilutes all oil in the system, but I would think lubrication would affected once the oil is back up to temp. Thinned out oil isn't problem for an engine going into combat which may be pushed to within an inch of its life? lol

I can't get over how awesome this thing is. I was studying the engine sound tonight and I have to say it's the most well done I've ever heard, right there with the A2A P-40. When I move around the aircraft I hear exactly what I would expect to hear from a given position, and I don't think that can't be said for anything else in my collection other than the P-40. I like finding those sweet spots where the exhaust note was caught just right, then running the engine through the range. One of the coolest parts to me is the way the engine sounds are linked directly with the effects, so every bump, burp and backfire has just the right pop, poof or billow of smoke. Listening to is just as much fun as looking at it. It's hard to pull my self away actually. lol

Just think, Accusim is in it's infancy, I repeat, infancy! It will only continue to grow and mature. The door has been unlocked to an all new world of simming the affect of which we (maybe even A2A at this point) can not imagine.

Believe it or not, even A2A's B377 and Razorback will begin to pale compared to what's in store for the future. Hard to imagine at this 'early' stage and given that were currently enjoying the best there is, but man, am I looking forward to the treasure's that these guys are going to bring to the sim community! Hats off A2A!!

After initially having reservations about the price of the P 47 I have to say that it is money well spent, in fact I haven’t flown anything else since I bought it over a week ago, so congratulations to A2A for an excellent product.
Now where’s that Phantom?

Happy flying!
Oh, and if you like her, please post a screenshot?
