Still stumbled as to why none of the payware manufacturers have not picked up the ball on this.

Heck it is so ignored it should be considered as a possible Piglet project.... that is how weird it is treated.

Mark my words.... if a payware developer takes this project on for an A6M2.... the best fighter in the world in 1941...... they are immediately a candidate for plane of the year.

People will be following up this post in support LOL!

I would have thought (at the very least) Aircraft Factory would. They still might. They brought us the Uhu.

Honestly, I have a great external ready to go. What I don't have is sufficient info on the pit.

If anyone can supply this kind of thing, we will look seriously into this.

Wholeheartedly agree crashaz! It's one of THE most influential aircraft of it's time. The first carrier-borne aircraft to prove superior to it's land-based opponents.

Not to mention that the Type 0 occupies a unique place in the minds of the Japanese, as important as the Spitfire is to the British. And everybit as sweet to fly. :)

just paint up a texan and throw a red dot on the side

it works in the movies :icon_lol:

all seriousness yep thats one model i do miss in X

What about the A2A A6M5 port from Fs2004. I don't have it but I have heard it works fine in FSX and the screenies of it in 2004 look OK. There is an update available from A2A along with their other old stuff for FSX.

Yep, a (real) FSX zero would be nice. Heck if Wings-of-Power/A2A/Shockwave would make a magic FSX upgrade for thiers, like they did to the Spitfire and P-51D, I would be happy, for that is still a fine looking FS plane, and I fly it in FSX often.

Rufe!!!

Nice work!

There have been other versions of the Zero built by others but we want to see the A6M2. It is the world-beater @ the time.

Folding wingtips and all.

I will do some looking around for cockpit details.
