Abacus repaint question.

I use Abacus repaint latest version to paint with.I tried to repaint the UKMIL FSX harrier, but the sheets didn't look right.I'm thinking because of the paint kit is not accessible. So how would I go about using the paint kit with repaint.

Yea, I have had FSRepaint for a long time now but never use it to do any repaints. I do my painting in Paintshop Pro and then use FSRepaint to check my work. Repaint is designed to use the actual aircraft textures for repainting. . .I don't believe there's any way to incorporate a paint kit into it.:salute:

If the UKMIL Harrier is done in dds format then the textures must be flipped after repainting. If not, the finished product looks disjointed, with textures showing up in all the wrong places. Is that what you're referring to when you say the "sheets didn't look right"?

I am using FSRepaint for viewing and finding textures only. All my paint work are done in Adobe Photoshop. If you are using HD textures, please keep in mind that FSRepaint does not handle them quite well. Your problem is probably the lack of flipped textures and alpha channels mentioned by falcon409

Sorry for the delay in a response. I do think your right .I have a couple of planes that won't work well with repaint. But took a chance at asking.
