    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

You have given me a fresh outlook about life this year and the future.

Two years ago when I became ill. I thought I had hit the bottom! Recently I read that the height of Mount Everest was a staircase of 29,000 steps.

I felt like I had sled down all 29,000 steps on my (you know what!)

My wife knew of my enjoyment being part of such a great group that she told me get back into it.

She was right!

To Everyone, I wish them "Good Health,and Success for many years of Enjoyment!"

Well, this place can be a great stress reliever, thats for sure. I've been going through a really tough period of my life now and over the past year and this place/people/sim has helped me keep it together.

Also, focusing on trying to fix or modify something in this sim sure takes your mind off of things.:mixed-smiley-010:
 
Amen !! Same here. Was having a tough time and got interested in combat flight sims again. This site has been a life line to me thanks to all the great people here. Don't know how to express how much this site has helped but thanks for putting up with me . Merry Christmas everyone !! Regards,Scott
 
Thank you okyone for posting. People don't know how good they got it till we have health problems. Visit this site at least a couple of times a day. Brings me joy to play this sim and to see others of like mind. Keeps me busy modding CFS3. Enjoy Il-2 '46 also modded and both complete my WWII fix. Thanks to all for making SOH such a great place to visit, learn and make new friends.

Mel - I have been here for several years and the community here is like none other. It is a haven from the hectic and real world problems we face and often when we mention circumstances occurring in our real life there are numerous others who can empathize and offer us solace. I wish you all the same! CFS 3 release is back from 2003 but for me playing war sims started back int the 90´s with Microprose sims.. like F 15 our F 117 pc sims back from DOS old times! :semi-twins:

The good-natured camaraderie here has been going longer than I can remember. Merry Christmas to you and yours, Mel, and to everyone else here.
