Accu-feel for P3Dv4 out!

Personally I think everyone should boycott A2A until they discontinue there predatory pricing model for P3D products.

Well, once AGAIN, I am NOT able to get into my A2A account. No idea why my password is not working, but to make things worse, when I try to reset my password, it says my email is not valid. Then how is it I have receipts from A2A for products I have purchased, sent to that email?

This is beyond frustrating. GRRRRRRR....:banghead: NC

Navychief, maybe they don't want you anymore?
I had a similar problem, and last time I needed a 12 digit password. How am I going to remember that? So I will probably make a new one every time I visit.
At the same time, I am also not happy with their pricing policy, so maybe I won't need a new one...
Btw, I have uploaded nearly all my repaints, except for the A2A ones. Partly because I can't test them, partly because of their prices.

Have the same problem, but check this:

Glad to see this is available but I wished A2A offered some consideration (discount) for those of us who purchased Accu Feel for FSX.

I'm curious, does the recently released Spitfire for native P3D include any NEW features since developed and incorporated into their GA platforms? Or is it the SAME addon as previously releaed for FSX, just adapted to work for v4? My guess is that A2A is on the Carenado track at this point. Making oodles of cash on the same old same old Cessna's and pipers...we'll be lucky if another REAL accu-sim warbird ever comes out of that dev. Their path is not conducive for that both virtually and real world. That's not a bad thing as far as their personal goals go. It's just a different path. Looks like Jake got is PPL which is great! But it's disappointing, because they did warbirds so well. Now that Scott is owning and flying a twin like the aerostar, it's not cheap. You need something to keep that life path going. GA is very lucrative! I wish them well. Hoping for Warbirds....Since the F-104, F-4 and T-33 seem to have evaporated into the ether, I'm not holding my breath. Maybe they'll produce a Duke -- At which point I'll be surrendering my wallet to that GA platform! (Wish SOMEONE would purchase Real Air and continue developement!!!).

I think the only new "feature" in the P3dv4 Spit is working mirrors. Bet that took a lot of coding....:pop4:

Went ahead and purchased it. Could not find information in forums if I had to buy it again, since I had previously purchased the previous version...... Whatever. Bought it. Hope it works good. NC

I didnt see any discount for previous owners of AF for FSX, pity.
I'll buy it however.

Just first impression is all works fine. Really had missed having this addon. Truly adds more realism....NC

Careful with some addons, it can bork up some aircraft from functioning properly. It *shouldn't* and A2A will say up and down it CAN'T...but I've done enough beta testing to tell you that it does...with it turned on, things don't work...turn it OFF and things work again....pretty cut and dry. Keep in mind that was in P3Dv3...perhaps this v4 version doesn't have this issue....just saying be wary of your aircraft performance (FDE wise not FPS).

At least this time around, A2A is being a bit more fair IMHOP: this time everybody has to (re-)purchase for P3Dv4.

But it might be a good idea to keep your A2A store account up to date, or use the same one every time. When I looked
in my account, I had over 400 A2A "Flying Hours" from previous purchases, I guess worth $40 US in A2A shop purchases.
I used half my points and got Accu-Feel 2 for free (Academic version).

OK, I feel a bit better now about having had to re-purchase a bunch of my FSX A2A planes - but only a bit.

So maybe check your A2A account.

Be interested to hear your impressions, Rob. I had the FSX version back at launch and seem to remember liking aspects of it but finding it quirky with some planes.

Wish they'd do one for X-Plane -- THAT's the sim that needs reworked ground handling in a big way.

I purchased Accu-Feel when it came out for FSX, and that was god-knows how many years ago.
So I have no quarrel with buying it again for P3D, which is another product anyhow.

The only thing is that I'm on a professional dev licensing scheme, but I'll contact them about it.

Cheers,
Mark

I'm reacting a bit too late, so I don't know which steps you might have already taken... but anyways, as pointed out by other members above, the A2A store has changed in the past few months, and every customer needs basically to create a new account on that new store, and tell A2A his previous account so that the A2A folks can transfer the previous purchases to the new account.
Everything is detailed in this topic on the A2A forums:
http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=63788
I had to do that back in June and it worked very well. Just follow the steps carefully.

Sorry, I am not a user but interested to hear if it really make a big difference and adds significantly to the immersion factor. Researched and nearly bought it for FSX a few years back but felt it might be a bit gimmicky in that it just shakes the plane on the ground over bumps and in the air with turbulence and that one might grow used to these predictable/programmed "effects" very quickly. Am I being too cynical (probably)?

I see what you mean with the "predictable" thing.
It's not like that fortunately, thanks to all the adjustable settings it brings (including suspension softness for example).
Granted, it is more useful / noticable for small or light aircraft than heavy ones.
It brings a kind of new feeling of the plane, both in the behavior and sounds. Seems not much, written like that, but it's difficult to fly without it once you get used to it.
