This pre-release available to get more feedback from the public in the final days before the official update is released. Accu-Feel customers can now download the Accu-Feel v.1.08 update

New Features:

Fuselage drag sound
The fuselage speaks even more to you during hard, fast maneuvers where the air is pushing hard on the fuselage. Recorded from the cockpit of high performance jet aircraft when manuevering and tuned in FSX.

Stall instability physics slider added
You can add more instability to the wings and airframe when entering into a stall. The default position is 0, but moving the sider to the right reduces the lift stability making stalls more challenging to handle when this characteristic is desired.

Bigger aircraft have a deeper brake 'groan'
The larger the aircraft that Accu-Feel detects, the deeper the brake squeals and groans will be. Tubeliners benefit most from this enhancement.

Open cockpit checkbox added
For those who like to fly open cockpit aircraft, all you need to do is check this box and Accu-Feel will remember this setting for each aircraft.

Support all sliders to be OFF when set to the LEFT
Moving a slider all the way left will give visual confirmation that the effect is disabled.

Physics are better managed for future expansions
This is pure "under the hood" benefits to Accu-Feel and not noticeable on the surface, but we've streamlined and organized the code to better support planned future expansions.

Fixes:
- Minor correction with pressure altitude calculations
- Fixed save issue reported on some user machines
- Fixed issue with tail draggers bouncing too much

Sid2008 its like 3d lights, so will work with most aircraft out there as seen in the video with the default aircraft. Here she is in action on some other developers aircraft;

Razbam;

Carenado;
(On that last video I can recommend tapcheck if you have an iphone, ipad. Its a neat lil app)

Thanks, Lewis. Honestly, I forgot about Accu-Feel. Oh, I have it installed and it is active on my aircraft, but it's integration is so seamless and the added effects fit in so well that I forgot that it was running!

I purchased the Accu Feel last night from the website. Will this be the 1.08 or will I have to download this seperately ?

I have less tail bounce as I slow on landing

Hi Lewis and A2A team,

I purchased Accufeel just a few weeks ago after I saw how much the Accusim equiped Cub delivered in the "feel of flight". I noticed the sounds of taxiing and squeaking brakes immediately and some of my older planes rattled like old planes. I also was very aware of wind noise and I enjoyed the sensation of being slowed by flap deployment. I was surprised to see a new version already being pre-released.

I obtained this pre-release and have had several flights with it and right away I find less bounce when I'm setting down a tail dragger and more noticible drag as I extend and retract gear. Its cool.

Even though I have a basic set-up I really like more realism as I fly and many of my planes seem much more realistic with Accufeel.

Thanks to A2A for continuing to contribute to my enjoyment of realistic flight simming.

good flights, Cal
