This is a collection of repaints for the Hurricane models made by Acwai for CFS 2. They depict aircraft used by the RAF in Burma & the CBI. This pack focusses particularly on aircraft flown by Frank Carey. These repaints are meant to be used with the Hurricane Trop mods for AcWai's Hurricanes that I uploaded recently.

The textures are:

Thank you for all these Burma skins UncleTgt Now that I think of it it doesn't look like much but a Hurricane with 4 20mm cannons must have been a really nasty surprise for the japanese, damn.

Hello Uncle. Thank you for the Trop Updates and the Skins. I am wondering though, what could be causing the stenciling on the radiator to not correctly show? I have used skins from your Burma 1 pack, and both the IIB and IIC have the same issue.

Issue Found:
I think I found the issue. Andrew created a version 1.20 back in October of last year that included updates tot he mdl file. If the mdl file is use from the 1.20 pack, the radiator stenciling won't show as intended, but rather as yellow polygons. If the mdl are used from Andrew's original Hurricane release, the stenciling shows just fine.

Nice find Browncoat, but that must've been there since v1.20 was released.

So why has nobody said anything before now?

Do we all just download stuff & file it for possible future use?

I suggest a PM to Andrew about this - as I'm not aware of any texture mapping changes with the v1.20 mdls.

Issue solved
Very, very much thanks for both of you UncleTgt and ACway for these superb Hurricane series and for all the skins you made.
I have solved the little issue founded by Browncoat.
There is a problem with alpha chanel of the texture named "VCPANEL.bmp" that lakes the alpha channel in the ACW 1.2 version.
It has to be replaced by this extended 32 bit 888-8 type you will find in the VCPanel zip file

Great work tracking that down, I would never have linked the VCPANEL.bmp with the radiator sides...
