add-ons wish list

Thoes boats would make nice Capt Gigs. You could take the top off one and make a nice motor whale boat.At the start of the war the motor whale boat was used as a landing craft for Marines.I have the ship and use it all the time.:typing:

The trouble with any open boat on a cfs2 sea is that the water shows up inside the vessel at the waterline. Its why a launch is more preferable with its enclosed structure.

You could fake the open boat with a false bottom that is above sea level, I expect.

Yep, but the bigger the boat the harder it is to fake, specially if you are in a chopper.

Repose50m sent to Tango Romeo for uploading onto Shipyard site.

I believe that there is a churchill tank or two available.. Add to the list: smoke marker rockets that actually function..

Where can I find a Churchill tank?
As for the wishlist, I would dearly love some French tanks for France 1940 and The Levant 1941. A Char bis and a Renault R-35 would be greatly appreciated (especially the Renault!).
:wavey:

Tried it a couple of years ago, no one was interested. Moored the hospital ship Repose and had a landing stage as well.

regards Collin:ernae:
That looks great. I don't know how it slipped past me but I'm sure that it would be appreciated.
Collin, any chance that we might see HMS Vanguard on CFS2 seas?

Looks like I was mistaken.. There is one for CFS3 but apparently not CFS2..

British AA is catered for. Pens 40mm Bofors and Bismarcks 3.7" (fixed) cover the most commonly used types. A mobile 3.7" would be nice though.

What were you gents thinking of in that line?

I'm still fighting with the textures for my RAF vehicles at present:faint:

I'd LOVE a rail gun, or a moving train w/AA car. I'd also like specular water effects, but even if this were possibe, I'm already at my video card's upper limit for eye candy.

USS_Repose50M...

Repose50m sent to Tango Romeo for uploading onto Shipyard site. regards Collin:ernae:

..., the moored/at anchor version of the Repose can now be downloaded at:

http://www.simviation.com/lair/files/shipyard1/USS_Repose50M.zip

:monkies:

NOTE: This version of the ship must be used as a mission object, i.e. infrastructure/ship. (Even though her speeds are zeroed in the DP, if you put her in a mission as a normal ship, you cannot keep her still. MB requires that every ship have two WPs and if you give her those she will move.)

Hold on guys, I think the .mdl file has messed up again. I'm now getting her with the bow 50' in the air and the stern awash, anybody else getting the same?

regards Collin:ernae:

Working fine...

...for me. No problems at all. :kilroy:

I'll download the file from the Shipyard and try it out....in case something happened to affect it during the upload/download. :isadizzy:

Nope...all is well...

....on my end. I deleted the ReposeM that I was using and downloaded from the Shipyard again for a reinstall. My test mission still works slick as goose sh......err...grease. :male:

See what Skipsan is getting.......after all he started all of this. :bump:

Merlin2, Add to that list (somewhere near the top) airfield vehicles for the RAF and Luftwaffe. Some good refueling trucks, an Austin Ambulance and a Crash tender would be very useful for the MB!

The add on I would like to see is a little pilot in a raft to use on rescue missions. And a ruber boat full of Marine Raiders too... and a way to have Catalina AIs land on water... and a way to get the MB to make an event where you can un-spawn an item... then you can build a proper rescue or pick up mission.
