Wow! It would be nice to see a picture of that DC-3 in that scheme.

I have searched the interwebs high and low for many years but have come up empty-handed. There may be something in my collection of our old family slides, but unfortunately it would be a huge undertaking to sort through them all. I'll have to at some point though. Many fond memories in that old suitcase.

Not a photograph per se but there's an Ertl diecast model of the Mobil DC-3 for sale on Ebay. No shot of the model itself but the box art is shown in the ad:

I can sympathize with the 'suitcase'. I've been promising for years to scan the 3000+ slides dating back to the beginning of the 60's that I have taken.. the progress meter hasn't moved much...

If there is continued interest I will proceed with the next in line, the AC560A(HC). I have kept that one dressed in original interior clothes, but she is a hot ride with geared props and the high compression engine. The panel is more advanced than the 520 as well.

Yes please I love all your models and I am so glad to see them getting a new youth.

Any chance for the Grumman family to get the same update ?

That's a pretty good picture, Brady. My own recollections are about 48 years old and unreliable. I'll have to see if I can build a repaint around it.

Gaab, if you are referring to the Trackers, Tracers, Traders, Euroastar350 converted several of them to FSX native already. They reside in the library here.

If you are referring to the F7F series, Gordon (gman5250) has that solution for you in an all new exterior and VC built specifically to take advantage of FSX and P3D capabilities.

As a result, I will not likely convert my old F7F series.

The work you and Gman have done with that bird is remarkable! I flew the designated version in the RTWR, in FSX:SE, and loved it. I still fly it constantly and thoroughly enjoy it.

Any of the Grumman Seven, I think they're called, would be just fantastic. I don't know when I'm going to have time to fly all the wonderful birds you've produced so far, let alone more FSX portovers you might come up with! Still appreciate all the hard work, whether I have time to really fly them all or not.

Thank you for the head up - I already knew the native conversion of the Trader C1AX and of course of the F7F by Gman.

I am now downloading the Tracker S2F3 and the Tracer E1B by Hugues-MDflyer4.
