I didn,t have them made at that time, sry the idee came over me a a bit later and I didn,t know if it was even possible to work those...Good news..You can add those red stairs to any model..Just drop the file L38Ext9 that I will upload with my next upload NX138TB (the one with number 119 on the nose) , to my 119 shark texture or any other you want red stairs on. You can also download the green interior the Skulleaders uploaded at flightsim if you want to be dead on accurate on that livery.

With your last screenshot I have really the sensation to see the real L-39, great work and congratulation.

How do we know which ones are photoreal? You used to annotate the uploads with such. Does that mean that none of the repaints you posted here of the L-39 are photoreal?

Jessus..Really, do you have to poke me with a stick every single time I do something for you ? You just gave me a mild stroke..And for what reason ? Does it really matter ? Do you like what you see ? Yes ? Then get it ,if not move along. If those shots can,t tell the story I dont know what else can..Maybe you need some eye drops since they don,t look very good in your avatar shot..

i,ve just uploaded two more.Can I be anymore vague ? :icon_lol:

I use DXTBmp and I've finish to paint the red stairs, please can you tell me which format or extension you use for saved your textures ?

Me I use DDS DXT1, it's a good choice ?

LMAO indeed..if I have to describe a texture in order for him to enjoy it..then i should stop painting and start narrating.I bet the frame rates would be much better with a spoken texture..

32bit DDS for fancy stuff ..the DXT1 did not do it for me..since i have to save a texture a milllion times before i finish it,the quality of the DXT1 would be horrible..If u do it from one shot,sure you can use DXT1 with out much quality loss.

Easy tiger, I don't quite think Tig is saying that. All it appears as is a simple question as to which are photoreal and which aren't.

Nice repaints nonetheless.. :monkies:

Hope you did a few more of that "old school" - Easten Hemisphere Paints.

If you insist..another deep thinker.My painting shop for L39 is now officially closed..The youngsters managed to worn me out..Time for flying ! :wavey: Should I fly photoreal ones or not..? That,s the deep question i,m facing this very second.
 
I don't understand what your problem is, Yago. Apologies for giving my opinion on a statement, I'll stay the heck out of it next time.

When I commended your paints, I meant that, so we'll leave it at that.
 
What the heck is going on here? As great as your paints are (and they are) I don't get why you can't accept that everybody is not thinking your way. Maybe people do prefer a tag about photorealism or not in the filename. Maybe they do prefer DXT1 (for fps improvement - something that you strangely enough don't see despite complaining that the 32bit green pit does drop your frames :bump: ). Let them think that way. You don't have to change anything on your end if you don't want to. Just let em talk and/or ignore it. But why react so ... huffy all the time? Nobody did criticize your wonderful work, so I don't really get what all the fuss is about ...

P.S.: Your comment about DXT1 really cracked me up. When you do serious editing you don't save into lossy standards after each step making the image worse and worse over time. You stay with TIF and other lossless formats and do a single compression when you're really ready. You're making it sound as if DXT1 was completely useless based on the completely wrong workflow ...
 
Get off my back Oli,and mind your own businees like you should have done from the start.Enjoy my stuff or not but don,t give me advise on how to do what I do for years..That focus over my textures is not normal ,instead of obsessing on how to modify my stuff your better off doing your own things.Your leak of respect was obvious from tha start since you decide to violate the copy rights I,ve listed with each paint. "Pls do not mody and redistribute this files without asking permission first " You did both without shame..You have uploaded the insides of my work ,my files, as screenshot on your posts.How rude and obnoxious that jesture could be.Then brag that you redistributed privately my modified files to people when i told you not to do so.. You are the last person from this forum who can point a finger at me..Shut up and go away..pls! In years time,if will be still around , you will also learn that is no benefit for anyone if you cross hornes with me.None.But again ,new youngsters will be join the fray on driving old Yago9 nuts...

Maybe some people should wait until the uploads are up before shooting the breeze.Did you read the names of the files ?..it,s says photoreal in the files name ,what more do you want ? To draw you a picture on a black board ? Not to mention the question was darn useless from the start..You like what you see on those shots, or you dont..What, difference would it make on your decision the style in wich the texture was made?..I honestly still fail to see the relevance of the question..Now two youngsters decide to explain me that was a legit normal question and I was over reacting.That part worned me out.It,s an uphill battle.Instead of me just painting it,s equally important for some of you that i should do some explaining meanwhile.Like talking you into downloading my files or something ? Why have things simple when they can get complicated ?..I,m better off doing stuff for myself like I,ve always said I should..
 
You keep going on about 'youngsters', and then really excel with a post like that.
