    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

I think I found one picture of a grey/green mk.1a, I'll see if I can dig it up again. Or we could apply a mk.2 scheme, they're not that different.

Somewhat gob smacked to learn you are color blind.
If you can't discern differences very well, how do you get the subtle changes in several shades of green, for instance, into your liveries?

The Fleet Air Arm had some as lead-in trainers for Seafire pilots, they would have been grey / green standard colours for FAA at the time.

Some more pictures and infos about Richard Hardy's Spitfire.
There is a small inscription consisting of two words on the nose.
Examination of the photos suggests that it appears on both sides.
It is difficult to read exactly this inscription.
Some read "Duty Dick" while others read "Dirty Dick".
