Hi All - If anyone has this aircraft I'd be interested to know whether we can select a modern day pilot figure for it please?

Actually, that is not quite correct. The "modern" restored version comes with a modern display pilot with bone dome. You can also have a "delivery" version with a female pilot. It is all detailed on the website and in the manual which is a free download.

AHA... I stand corrected for being in error, and for not reading the manual. Thanks for the info.

As a former news reporter for three papers, former owner of a news business, former owner of a flight sim business, and author of more than 12 books.... it SHOCKS me that I could personally miss reading the flipping manual... LOL.... Oh well... That's life my friend.
