AFCAD editing for FSx

Hey guys,

I want to start editing some AFCAD files for FSx... where do i start? which programs would i need? :help:

ADE is free and very easy to use.

FSXPlanner is also free and contains some features not present
in ADE.

I use both for creating "afcad's" and modifying stock airports...
adding parking, simple scenery objects, etc.

I also use FSX_KML and SBuilderX for working with Landclass polygons.

Another good tool is Whisplacer for adding scenery elements.

Just do a google search and you can find those programs.

Also, pay a visit to www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/ where
you will find information on using those tools and where
most of the authors/experts 'hang out'.

ADE does everything I want it to now, including a lot of the stuff that I had to do in SBuilderX when I was using FSXPlanner such as flattens and excludes. It also allows objects to be placed inside it.

The only thing I do outside ADE now is to actually capture a GeoTiff to base each airport on, which I still have to do in SBuilderX. After that, it's ADE all the way to the finish.
